Cara Mudah Konversi Gambar Image Jadi Icon

Gambar icon dalam dunia komputer merupakan gambar kecil yang sering kita lihat pada layar komputer, laptop atau pun layar ponsel, yang fungsinya untuk mempermudah seseorang mengenali atau menandakan software, aplikasi, shortcut, atau juga sebagai penanda bagi sebuah situs online dalam bentuk favicon (favorite icon).

Format gambar icon ini biasanya berbeda dengan gambar image biasa (.bmp, .jpg, dll) , yang ditandai dengan extension .ico (di OS Windows), .icns (MacOS) atau juga .png (Linux). Khusus untuk penanda situs web, gambar icon yang biasa terlihat pada address bar di browser biasanya diberi nama favicon.ico (walau pun pada browser modern versi terbaru tidak lagi harus menggunakan format favicon.com tersebut).
